From the initial consultation, to the proposal strategy session, to day of coordination, all the way up to the big moment, I am your guide, as hands on or hands off as you need, in order to put your proposal plans into action. You will receive a beautifully curated online gallery, images that capture the moment and the feeling, all ready to download, print, and share.
You will share your location and a selfie, and I’ll be there ready and waiting for the moment to unfold. I will capture their reaction and emotion, and celebrate their YES right along with you.
We’ll chat about location, light, time of day, and what matters most to you. We will craft a proposal plan that feels natural and easy, and stay in contact as the day approaches.

I ask for a 50% retainer for all bookings to confirm your date or session. Once I have received the retainer payment, your date is secured!
You can expect approximately 100 edited images for every hour of coverage, carefully curated and meticulously edited in my signature style.
For proposals, I aim to have a sneak-peak highlight gallery delivered within a day, but no later than 3 days during busy season. Full proposal & portrait galleries are delivered no later than 7 days after our session.
I always do a check-in call a few days before your proposal. If the weather is looking bad the week leading up to your date, I will help craft a plan B that still feels easy and natural. We have a number of great covered spots to use in case of inclement weather.
For proposals, 3 to 4 weeks is ideal, but I can often accommodate last-minute bookings if we have sufficient time to formulate the best execution plan for your plans.

I have lived in Chicago for over 20 years, and I know the best locations, the best backdrops, and the best times of day to propose at any of Chicago's many iconic locations.
