From Surprise Rookery Proposal to Chicago Courthouse Wedding

Ken was one of my first proposal clients of 2024. Although I had been photographing for years, I was newer to proposal photography at the time. Ken booked a session at the Rookery Building in Chicago to propose to his girlfriend Solomiya, and I might have been more nervous than he was. Seriously. She said yes and the surprise proposal was a perfect success!

They were lovely to work with and really loved the images I created. So much so that when it came time to book a photographer for their Chicago courthouse wedding ceremony & couple’s session, I was top of mind. I love the simplicity of an intimate courthouse wedding ceremony, and they are one of my favorite sessions to photograph, so it was an easy yes from me.
